This was one of my unintentional words many years ago when I was angry at my kids and donno what the heck flew out from my mouth by accident or lost my mind... I saw the bowel was not flush and full of Sh**! The heat shot up and messed up my head! Furiously I shouted:

"Who pooped out "water" and did not flush it with "Sh**"!!! ( in cantonese)

My kids laughed at me instead of being scared!

that included me, laughed until I cried!!!

Last generation and today's generation....

When we were kids, we were the obedient type. Why were we so?.. it is because we were afraid of our parents or guardian. Everything was controlled by them whether you liked it or not. In the modern days we talk to the hand if we don't want to listen to people,back then our parents only needed u to have a conversation with Mr. Rotan to settle it. We were molded into what they wanted us to be.. we had no choice but to follow...even though reluctantly. Not allowed to explain or give any excuses( labelled as talking back or rebelling)....just swallow it quietly inside. But nevertheless, we still turned out to be fine and fit in today's society. But there is still something good that we learned and mastered and that's patience and tolerance under any circumstances.

Today's generation of kids, they think they know better than us. We are the "lost ones in time". They reason back with their sharp, witty tongue. As if they were the ones who taught us how to be a "better parent"....Hmmm...Wonder how will the next next generation turn out? The way of bringing up kids nowadays are totally different from our time, we have to understand their thoughts, what's in for them, cannot be pushy or force them do things they don't like and we must update ourselves in order to be same pace with them. Support and encouragement is in today's parent trend. What will our kids become in the future??? Hope they will also turn out to be good...^.^
